Crafts of memory

A production workshop with 10 Latin American photographers and 10 local residents working in creative pairs for a week to create an urban intervention in Cerro Lecheros in Valparaíso.

Creative activation:

The creative workshop is a community activity where 10 photographers and visual artists engage in horizontal exchanges throughout the festival, producing a joint work between a local resident and each artist. This collaborative artistic action aims to respond to the central theme of the fifteenth edition of the FIFV, "When does a photograph lose its memory?", considering memory as a story that is never finished and where the moments of remembering are always mutable depending on the people and the territory.

Deliverables:

A common narrative composed of ten images to be billboards and paid for on the main street of Cero Lecheros.
