Cosmovitions in motion

Production workshop with 45 Latin American photographers aboard a train from Buenos Aires to Tucumán.

Argentina
Creative activation:

The workshop is a 32-hour production experience with the goal of creating a multimedia project to be shown at the biennial upon arrival in Tucumán and a photobook to be presented at the next edition. We create a group dynamic to generate both fixed and more open content, providing a broad spectrum of options for editing the multimedia and publishing. We form 5 groups of 9 people, each of whom must have a reference person who coordinates with us throughout the process to edit the content.

Each group considers themes proposed by the biennial assigned as a cross-cutting theme to their production practice within the train:

-Bodies in motion

-Territory

-Gender

-Original worldviews

Deliverables:

 1) Each group creates a 3-minute visual metaphor video focusing on journey, path, movement, and time. They can use photos, videos, audio, text, graphics, performances, poetry, and animation as creative resources.

2) Each group member, along with a passenger, must create a portrait, a close-up shot of a passenger taken inside the train, and a medium shot of a passenger. Each person will hold a sign answering a question posed by you, writing in the person's handwriting on a white sheet of paper. The question is defined by the group at the beginning of the trip.

 3) Each group will be required to create a movie poster with a fictitious name and submit the design with all its standard contents at the end of the trip.

4) Each group establishes an internal mechanism to deliver a narrative sequence of 18 images narrating the group theme that was assigned at the beginning.

All content must be delivered before the train arrives in Tucumán. Files will not be accepted after the trip.
